The RM Kaleidos Learning Platform is built with its foundation firmly in industry standard technology, giving the network manager the confidence that it will support both current and future needs whilst also giving them and their teams the freedom to make the best possible use of their time and resources.
It's now the middle of August, and Jake has got to get the new year 7 logins done. Haycrook Technology College has multiple systems in which all pupils need to be installed, from cashless catering, to printer credits. Luckily the RM Kaleidos Learning Platform is one less system Jake needs to worry about, as it automatically pulls pupils' information from the school's management information system. Jake also needs to populate the VLE within Kaleidos with some new resources from Hutchinson that the English department asked him to buy over the summer. Fortunately they're SCORM 2004 compliant so they snap right in without problem.
So, that's the new users deployed, and the new content installed, all before 11am. Right, now on to test that new RM miniBook he's got on evaluation. It runs Linux, with a Firefox browser, but should make a great tool for pupils to access Kaleidos from home, and at £169 he might just order one for himself to play with.
